![]() ![]() HELP - any ideas are greatly appreciated. I also tried a 3rd party driver from a thread I'd seen on the Lenovo site but it turned out not to be for Windows 10 and wouldn't run properly, have tried updating the drivers individually and manually but so far, nada. ![]() I've tried uninstalling the gray version, tried the HP assistant but didn't want to risk allowing some of the drivers to update, and a couple of other things I've seen on the net but so far, no luck. When the Device Manager opens scroll down to Human Interface Devices and open it. Hopefully HP and Microsoft find a solution soon and if I'd known I'd lose something like this, would have stayed with Windows 8.1. Open the Search charm and type in device manager, Device Manager will appear below the search box, click/tap on it. Going to Device Manager, the driver is gone unless you click to see 'hidden' in which case, it's there albeit grayed out and unusable.įrom what I've read on the Internet, this problem is almost chronic and lots of people have noted the same problem. One made the migration fine and on the other one, the Touch Screen quit working and hasn't worked since. I have two identical HP notebooks that went through the Windows 8.1 'update' to Windows 10 though, at a month apart. ![]()
